Vika wins China Open title with win over Masha
Victoria Azarenka beat Maria Sharapova i63 61 to win the China Open 2012 title.
Sharapova struggled to find the court when it mattered most, finishing the match with a 18 winnersd to 39 unforced erros while Azarenka had 7 winners to 14 errors.
"I'm really happy to finally have a really good result here - I've been coming here for the last four years and I'm happy I could finally show my game and hold the trophy," Azarenka said. "I've worked so hard and it all came together here. It has been an incredible week."
"Victoria played an amazing match today - there's a reason she's No.1 in the world right now," Sharapova said. "I really appreciated all the support from the fans this week - I hadn't been here in a couple of years but they were so supportive. I know the Chinese fans are some of my most loyal fans."
