Venus Williams will represent the United States in the 2013 Hopman Cup mixed-teams tournament for the first time in her career.
Williams will team up with John Isner in Perth, from December 29 to January 5.
The teams will play a men's singles, a women's singles and a mixed-doubles match in each contest.
Williams and Isner will be joined so far by Serbiaan Novak Djokovic and Ana Ivanovic.
"I've never played the Hopman Cup, so for me it's going to be a wonderful experience." Commented Venus.
