2012 US Open Women’s Singles Seeds
The USTA announced that Victoria Azarenka will be the top seed in women’s singles at the 2012 US Open.
Following Azarenka, will be Agnieszka Radwanska and Maria Sharapova.
Serena is the No. 4 seed, Sam Stosur will defend her 2011 US Open title as the No. 7 seed while Kim Clijsters, who will be retiring after this event, is the No. 23 seed.
The singles draws for the 2012 US Open will be revealed live during an official draw ceremony on Thursday, August 23, at 12 p.m. ET at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
